Experience the world of 'Flatlife'—a signature style where Marcus brings a flat surface to life by elevating the images 2 to 3 inches off the wood surface. Every piece is a labor of love, sketched on 100% cotton press velvet board then painted with Acrylic paints and meticulously cut out by hand. At the core of each creation is the black foam that provides the lift—which Marcus calls the 'soul' of the artwork.
Complementing his Flatlife works, Marcus also presents his 'Diamond Dust Nostalgia' series. These striking black-and-white pieces capture an 'old-school' feel, sized perfectly to the classic scale of an album cover. While they maintain a sleek profile, Marcus has embellished these works with his exclusive, handmade diamond dust glitter. The result is a brilliant, shimmering appearance that creates a stunning illusion of depth as the light catches the surface.
